You are going to investigate which of these monarchs was the most powerful. Follow the instructions below to produce a project entitled

’Who had the Power?’

  Project Introduction:

You are going to produce a project looking at these different Kings and the power they had. During the Middle Ages people believed in many superstitions and old wives tales. They believed in ‘The Wheel of Fortune’.

This was the idea that kings were either rising into fortune or good luck or falling out of luck. When you have researched each of the kings on the list above you must then judge them on the wheel of fortune. Where do you think each King would fit on ‘The Wheel of Fortune’?

Project Instructions:

  You must include:

  • Title page/ contents page

  • A page of information on each of the kings on the first page showing some background and good and bad things about their time in power. You may also include pictures if you find some.

  • ‘The Wheel of Fortune’ – using the picture as a guide place the names of the kings around the wheel of fortune wherever you think they should go.

  • You must then decide which king was the most powerful and the least powerful and explain why you think this.

Try to make your project interesting and nice to look at.
