Introduction

This is a 1 year GCSE course.

Assessment will consist of coursework worth 20% and a final 2 hour examination in the summer worth 80%.

The majority of the course will be aimed towards you taking the foundation tier enabling you to achieve a grade between C – G.

Some of you will sit the higher exam at your teacher’s discretion. This will allow you to achieve up to a grade A. Speak to your teacher if you have any concerns.

All pieces of work must have the date and title. Don’t forget to save your work in your science folder. Remember you have this lesson to complete the task you are on.
