End Product
  • Write about how the breathing and circulatory system of an athlete differs from a couch potato on the end of the Powerpoint you have started this lesson.
Task 2 - The importance of exercise and physical fitness
  • Create a diary in a word document of all the exercise you have done in the last 7 days you can title it “my weekly exercise”. Now think of some things you could do to improve this.

  • Carry out your own survey of people in your class to see how much exercise they do per week. The survey needs to be of 6 – 8 questions and easy to analyse, your findings can then be put into a graph using excel.

  • Research the issues behind excessive exercise, over-eating and under-eating and put into a power point presentation titled “why eating the right amount is important”, you can use these websites for help:

  • Find pictures of a famous person who is always in the news about their weight, make a collage either on the computer or with paper and glue of them using pictures and words to highlight the problems they face.
