  • Make a poster of the structure of the skin, including all the key terms and explain the function of each part.

  • Leonardo
    Your teacher will now give you 5 beakers of water (labelled A – E) at varying temperatures. You need to put your hand into each one and put in order from hottest to coldest. Compare your opinion with other pupils results.
  • Practical experiment – wrap beakers of water in cotton wool, feathers and leave one bare. Compare rate of heat loss from each one. Which method is most effective at retaining heat?
  • Make a poster of the structure of the skin, including all the key terms and explain the function of each part.
  • Lets play Bingo! – Your teacher can project a list of 12 words onto the board and you have to select 9 to write into a bingo grid. Remember its secret so don’t let anyone else see your words. Your teacher will read out a series of questions and if you have the answers on your grid cross them off.
