Excretion - Task 13
  • Open a new document and give it the title “excretion”
  • Make a list of all of the things you get rid of from your bodies. Discuss how your body might do this?
  • How many of your friends said poo? Is going to the toilet excretion? Why not? Ask your teacher to explain why.
  • Explain where the following waste materials are made
      • carbon dioxide
      • water vapour
      • sweat
      • urine

Extension: Research what makes up sweat and urine, find out what is hidden in them.

  • Describe how these waste products are excreted from the body, which organs are involved. Below is a list to help you, try matching the organ up to the waste product(s).
