    • Find your word document from last lesson title “nutrition”. Continue today’s work here.
    • Write down everything that you ate and drank yesterday. Additionally they could include what vitamins and minerals each food/drink contained (your teacher would be really impressed if you could do this)
      • Click on the link and select the food group you need information on, Food groups
      • Investigate the vitamins and minerals a range of fruits and vegetables contain. Pupils need to use their starter list and list any vitamins/minerals they should be deficient in based on their diet. Use this link to help.  chose only a few bits from each mineral and vitamin as it is a bit wordy vitamins and minerals facts
      • Pupils must now understand the uses these have in the body. Using the internet find out what the body uses the things on the keyword list for, add this to your word document.
      • Design a diet for a specific person from the list of subjects below. This can be done at the end of your class work. Include some pictures as well to make it interesting. Alternatively you could create a leaflet in publisher.  Remember to title and save it as Diet plan.
