  • To describe the role that each part plays and link this to it’s structure.

  • Pretend you are writing a piece for a dating agency as blood. you need to describe yourself and advertise why you would be a good match for either O2, germs or cuts.

  • Before you start have a look at this Powerpoint on Blood. Click here blood.ppt
  • In a Powerpoint document with a title “my blood” draw a table which describes and explains the function of erythrocytes (red blood cells), leukocytes (white blood cells) and platelets.
  • Ask your teacher about looking at some real blood cells under the microscope. Try a draw what you see, can you label them.
  • You may have the opportunity to play a game now which looks at different blood types. Ask your teacher about this.
