- Recall the work from last lesson and label the male and female reproductive systems
- A few pupils may be selected to read out the fertilisation stories written for homework.
- You will be given a labelled diagram of the female reproductive system and asked to write a short sentence to state the function of each of the structures.
- Create a power point presentation to summarise the release of LH and FSH. Give your power point the title ‘FSH and LH’. You will then be able to draw a graph into your books or on the computer.

- Create a table to summarise all the hormones involved in the menstrual cycle, stating the site of secretion and main effects.
- You need to conduct some research and be able to name the hormone responsible for follicle growth and ovulation.
If you complete all the work for today you can move on to look at how LH & FSH are produced and their role. Research the uses of hormones in controlling fertility.
