We are currently progressing exciting new plans to provide two new school buildings, replacing the worn out buildings at Oldborough Manor and Senacre Schools. Details of this appear below.

Both Oldborough Manor School and Senacre School buildings are in poor repair and are beyond their working life. The proposed plans involve the provision of two new school buildings, both of which would be accommodated on the current Oldborough site.
Both Schools would function separately under their current names but will share a range of amenities such as a common reception, food court and performance space to maximise usage.
The proposed plans are aimed at fulfilling a key element of Kent County Council's regeneration programme for the county's schools.
The new Buildings will enable both schools to provide the facilities necessary to deliver an innovative and exciting curriculum fit for the 21st century.

Both Senacre and Oldborough Manor schools are currently operating significantly under capacity. However, this presents the opportunity to redevelop the schools on a single site with the benefit of shared amenities, including a common reception, activity studio, performance space and sports facilities. As well as the aesthetic improvements the new buildings would provide, schools designed for the 21st century would allow us to deliver the curriculum more effectively.
New sports facilities would be provided under these new plans, including a new sports hall and new multi-use games area. With improved and extended sports pitches too, students would enjoy some of the best sports facilities in the county.
Pedestrian access to both schools would be improved by enhancing accessibility at both the north and south end of the site with a new pedestrian route through the site providing improved access to all facilities and buildings.
A central drop-off point would ensure that cars remain a safe distance away from the schools' entrance and both students and staff will be encouraged to use greener modes of travel, especially walking and cycling. To maximise this, secure new bike sheds would be created for bikes to be left safe and secure during school hours.
Under these new plans it is proposed that the existing vocational centre be extended with the provision of a new building, allowing the schools to offer an even grater range of vocational training.
As the proposed new Oldborough Manor Schools would be located in a different position to the existing school, both Oldborough and Senacre would remain fully operational whilst the new buildings are being constructed – ensuring minimal disruption to current students.
