Courtney Tulloch - Commonwealth Games Success

Former New Line Learning student Courtney Tulloch has had an extremely successful 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia.

Courtney walks away from the competition winning two gold medals and a silver medal in the Gymnastics category.

His first gold medal came after the Men's Gymnastic Team Division. Courtney displayed his excellent balance between strength and athleticism during both the rings and the vault categories.

Courtney won his second gold medal for the Individual Men's Rings Division, scoring 14.833. Before the Games begun, Courtney said that he was excited and had a big routine planned for the rings, looking to bring back the 'Tulloch', an incredibly difficult skill he invented during the World Championships. Courtney's display on the rings was truely impressive and he fully deserves the gold.

Courtney secured his silver medal for the Mens Vault on the last day of the Gymnastics, narrowly missing out on Gold by 133 points to Christopher Remkes of Australia.

England won a total of 16 medals in the Gymnastics, topping the Gymnastics medal table.

Overall, England sit second in the medal table with 57.

Courtney is no doubt pleased with his performances and we all couldn't be happier for him here at NLL!
