Helen Whately Visits New Line

Faversham and Mid Kent MP Helen Whately is thoroughly impressed with the direction New Line Learning is taking.

The Conservative MP is currently on a mission to visit every secondary school in her constituency; finding out students' opinions on their education and the changes they would make.

The MP visited NLL where she spoke to students and witnessed some of the teaching that occurs at the school.

Although only at the school for a short visit, Helen met with Headteacher Paul Murphy to discuss school funding and the improvements happening at NLL.

She then met with the school council who discussed what life at NLL is like and the improvements they’ve seen over the year. After taking some questions from Helen, it was our students turn to ask the questions. Our student council asked some very thorough and pressing questions about Helen and the policies she stands for, they were greeted with a comprehensive answer every time.

We were delighted to show Helen Whately around and we wish her all the best.
