NLL Academy shortlisted for two awards

We are proud to announce that New Line Learning Academy has been nominated for two prestigious awards.

The academy in Boughton Lane, Loose, has been shortlisted in the Most Versatile Learning Environment category of the Excellence in BSF Awards 2009 for its new build which is set to open in September next year.

NLL is competing against three other educational establishments from across the UK for this coveted award.

Deputy Executive Principal Gigi Luscombe will be attending the awards ceremony which takes place on Thursday 12 November at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, and is being hosted by comedian Dara Ó Briain.

Expert judges, including representatives from the design community, construction industry, educationalists, students and BSF delivery partners, have selected all the BSF projects that have been shortlisted.

Mrs Luscombe will also be attending the FX International Interior Design Awards 2009 at Grosvenor House Hotel, London, on Tuesday 24 November.

This is to see whether our architects/design consultants Gensler walk away with another award. The company has been nominated in the public sector category for creating Plaza 2 at NLL, a state-of-the-art learning space on the current site.

The FX Awards will see both British and international design talent from all over the world vying to win awards for their interior products and projects. Organised by FX magazine, this glittering ceremony, is the highlight of the design industry calendar.
