Fundraising for the people of earthquake torn Haiti

Students from Cornwallis Academy and NLL Academy held a variety of fundraising events on Friday 22 January in aid of the Haiti Earthquake Appeal and so far have raised in excess of £2,500.

Fundraising activities included:

• Non - uniform for students.
• Staff going to school in fancy-dress.
• Cake sale.
• Car washing.

Both academies are continuing to collect cash for the Appeal week commencing Monday 25 January and a final amount raised will be announced as soon as possible.
