On Thursday 11 March pupils and staff from New Line Learning Academy (NLL) hosted a multi skills festival for local primary school pupils in Years 1 and 2.
The aim of the day was to give primary school students the opportunity
to participate in physical activity and develop basic skills such as
passing, catching, jumping and skipping.
Around 140 youngsters from Bower Grove, Park Way, Holy Family, Boughton Monchelsea, Molehill Copse, Loose Infants and St Paul's Infants Schools attended the event.
The session which was organised with the School Sports Co-ordinator (SSCo) Partnership, saw NLL pupils responsible for organising 16 stations and helping all primary school pupils complete the activities for the morning.
Samantha Newling, PE teacher and SSCo for the Academy said: "the young sports leaders were incredible on the day and all pupils and staff had an enjoyable morning".
