How are the tablets used in lessons?
The tablets are used as an educational resource and they are used to enhance pupils learning experience.
When are pupils given the tablet PC?
We have a comprehensive 2 day induction program pupils are given their tablets on the first day and carry out a wide range of activities to learn how they will be using the tablet PCs in lessons and at home.
Do pupils take the tablets home?
Students are issued with a tablet on their first day of school, which is theirs to take home.
How long will my child have a tablet PC?
Whilst your child remains at New Line Learning they will have their learning facilitated by the use of a tablet PC.
How much do they cost?
At New Line Learning Academy and Cornwallis Academy we will provide the Tablet PC as part of your child's education, although if items are lost then you will be asked to replace these items.
What happens if my child damages the tablet?
If your child damages their tablet though not taking proper care of it, then we may ask for a contribution to the cost of repair.
