Goodbye Year 11

On Friday 14th June, we said goodbye to our Year 11 pupils.

Over the past 4 weeks, pupils have sat in excess of 20 examinations, attending hours of additional intervention and have applied themselves to the best of their ability.

Members of staff took the time to wish Year 11 good luck for the future. Pupils participated in the traditional shirt signing and year group photos before attending their last ever assembly with the school where they watched goodbye videos from staff. Finally, the entire school came together to give a guard of honour as they left the Academy.

We look forward to seeing Year 11 at the prom and again for their GCSE results day in August.

The effort of all staff to provide Year 11 additional support over the examination period has been commendable and we appreciate the additional planning, intervention and time that has enabled Year 11 pupils to feel fully prepared for their examinations.
