New Line Learning Academy hosted a fantastic quiz night on the last day of Term 4.

It was a pleasure to see so many people attend and support our quiz night which was in aid of the mental health charity Mind

The quiz (which was incredibly tough) had teams answering eight rounds of questions, each round contained 10 questions regarding a specific category.

Midway through the quiz we the raffle for all of the donated items we had received. We had plenty of winners on the night who walked away with some excellent prizes.

Once the quiz had finished, we held an auction for some very special items, including some signed football shirts and a piece of memorabilia from England's 1966 World Cup win.

In total, we raised £2852.50! This is incredible and we would like to thank everyone who supported and attended the event - we couldn't have done it without you!

With 1 in 4 people said to experience a mental health problem each year and an increase in school children struggling to cope with their mental health, it is becoming more important for staff at schools to understand mental health and the different ways it affects people.

There are multiple ways you can support Mind, all of which can be found on their website: https://www.mind.org.uk/get-involved/.
