The decision has been made to centralise all Sixth Form pupils and lessons to Cornwallis Academy from September 2017.
We operate a centralised Sixth Form to ensure our teaching environment, resources, and the overall teaching experience is optimised to deliver the best quality of education possible.
We are extremely proud of our Sixth Form, and we feel the decision to centralise the Sixth Form to Cornwallis was in the best interest for our pupils.
We realise that some of you have not yet made plans for next September or that you may be awaiting confirmation of an offer of a place from another provider eg Mid Kent College.
As you know, all schools and colleges are now effectively closed and that this may mean that there will be a delay in sending out interview invitations and offer letters. Please try not to worry if you haven’t yet got a firm plan in place.
We are all still available via e mail if you need any guidance about what your next steps might be although we are all waiting for confirmation from Government as to what the arrangements will be for the awarding of GCSE exam grades.
If you are worried about your plans please get in touch with us and will try our best to guide and support you through this challenging period.
