Year 9 Options and Consultation Evening

Our Year 9 Options and Consultation Evening was a highly successful and informative event, welcoming families into school to support an important stage  of  their  child’s  education. Throughout the evening, parents and carers met with core subject teachers to discuss progress and attainment in English,  Maths  and  Science,  gaining valuable  insight  into  strengths,  next steps  and  strategies  for  continued success.

Families  also  attended  an  engaging and informative presentation delivered by  Mr  Cook,  Mrs  Fernandez  and  Mr Cooper. The talk clearly outlined the different  pathways  available  at  Key Stage   4,   highlighting   how   our curriculum is designed to ensure every student can access a bespoke range of subjects  tailored  to  their  individual skills, interests and strengths. Emphasis was  placed  on  high  aspirations, informed choice and the wide range of opportunities open to all learners.

The evening concluded with visits to our subject exhibition, where subject teachers and students shared detailed information  about  course  content, assessment   methods   and   the importance of each subject. The event reinforced our strong partnership with families and our shared commitment to supporting every student to make confident,  well-informed  choices  for

the future.
