Employers Careers Information
The importance of employer engagement with our pupils cannot be overstated.
Our pupils have numerous opportunities to engage with employers through events such as our whole school careers fair, and the Apprenticeship Event. Last year’s bi-annual careers fair featured over 30 stands, and students were guided on how to maximize this opportunity through a series of tutorials. The feedback from these events has been overwhelmingly positive.
We leverage the expertise of employers from diverse sectors—private, public, and voluntary—providing our students with a myriad of benefits. They gain insights into workplace dynamics, employer expectations, the importance of developing transferable skills, and the wide range of opportunities available to them. This engagement boosts their confidence and self-belief, educates them on what employers offer (apprenticeships, internships, scholarship programs, etc.), and helps them understand the steps needed to pursue their chosen careers.
