Attendance rewards

Attendance has a direct impact on academic achievement, examination success, future earning potential and students reaching their full potential. We reward students who attend regularly and make every day count.

Rewards How students earn? When is the reward issued?
Attendance Tickets Students receive an arcade ticket for every session they attend. Tickets are collected in form group envelopes and exchanged at the end of each short term for rewards such as school equipment, stationery, games and LEGO sets. The more students attend, the more tickets they earn. End of each short term
Wheel Spins Students with attendance of 95% or above for the short term are entered into a year-group prize draw. Two students from each year group are selected at random using a wheel of names and choose from a range of prizes. Last day of each short term
100% Club At the start of each term, students with 100% attendance join their Head of Year's 100% Club. They receive a card and can access weekly perks chosen by their Head of Year, such as canteen queue jump, Sweet Treat Friday or a study space at break and lunch. From the start of each term
Streak Rewards

Some students may be set a target period to maintain attendance above 90%. Students who meet the target earn an activity afternoon with a friend of their choice, such as a film afternoon with popcorn or a youth club afternoon with snacks, games and music.

Targeted periods during the year

Form Trophy

Each week, the highest attending form group in each year group holds the Form Trophy. Keeping the trophy builds a streak towards a form reward. If another form wins it, the streak ends.
