Primary School Outreach
Here at New Line Learning Academy we welcome visits from local primary schools to strengthen links with the local community. A number of schools visit us every year to use our amazing professional kitchen; craft, glaze and fire their own clay masterpieces.
If you are a Primary School interested in visiting us with your students, please contact us directly - jvincent@newlinelearning.com

We are also proud to host an annual Community Schools’ Games, bringing together Year 5 students from primary schools across Maidstone for a day of sporting fun in the sun, led by our fantastic Student Ambassadors alongside our inspiring PE teachers.
Watch out for your school’s invitation winging its way to you in anticipation of the next Games in Spring 2027, or register your school’s interest here.

Secondary School Outreach
We love welcoming our friends and colleagues from other local schools to network and enjoy a bit of healthy competition!
Every year we host the Maidstone Schools’ Linguistics Olympiad to celebrate European Day of Languages, bringing together budding linguistics from Key Stages Three and Four to tackle problem-solving and puzzles in languages from Swahili to Inuktitut.

Proud to promote literacy across the curriculum, we also work in partnership with local authors to host the Maidstone School’s Spelling Bee. In fact, we’re still riding high from our victory last year against fierce competition from other local grammar and comprehensive schools.

Community Outreach
At New Line Learning Academy we are proud to be at the heart of our community with close links to businesses and other organisations in the local area.
Our students take part in a wide range of local government initiatives, ensuring the our young people are both represented in and of service to the local community. We are proud to have Alfie M currently serving as a Kent Youth County Councillor, and to have been invited to send two representatives to the Maidstone Borough Council Youth Scrutiny Board.
We also work in partnership with Golding Homes and One Maidstone on their annual Light Up Maidstone Initiative, bringing light to our town in the darkest months of the year.
