School Statement

Wednesday 18th March 2020

Dear Parents/Carer

As I am sure you are aware the Government has announced that all schools will close from the end of Friday until further notice.

The school will continue to remain open tomorrow, 19 March and Friday 20 March for all pupils in years 10 and 11, and for pupils of Frontline Service Employees in years 7-9.

To pupils in Year 11, we know how difficult the message regarding the public examinations is for you all. We want to ensure you we will help and support you in every way we can during this time.  We expect to receive further information regarding this within the next few days and we will share this with you as soon as we possibly can.

All pupils have been provided with work and shown how to access their normal timetabled lessons via Microsoft Teams.  Pupils not currently in school should continue to access this.

We are working on how we will support pupils from families of key workers and this information will be published as soon as possible.

We appreciate and share in everyone’s concern at this time, and whilst we do not know what the future will bring, this is a time when we will all need to work together, support each other and remain strong. New Line Learning prides itself on its strong, family community links and in this most difficult of times will continue to look out for each other.

We would like to thank you for all your help and support over the last few weeks and those to come.
