Our KS4 Business curriculum develops students' understanding of the real world of business while preparing them for further education and the workplace. Through the Level 1/2 Technical Award in Business and Enterprise, students study entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, human resources, operations and business planning, applying their knowledge to realistic business scenarios and developing commercial awareness and entrepreneurial thinking.

The course has a strong vocational focus, with students creating and presenting a business plan while developing valuable transferable skills. Mathematics is applied through financial calculations and data analysis, while English and literacy are strengthened through research, report writing and professional communication. These skills prepare students for external assessment and equip them with the confidence and knowledge needed for future study.
