Geography Curriculum
The Geography curriculum at New Line Learning Academy develops curious and informed global citizens by exploring the physical and human processes that shape our world. Through a carefully sequenced curriculum, students investigate landscapes, environments, populations and places while developing an understanding of how people interact with the natural world.
Students explore important contemporary issues including climate change, sustainability, biodiversity and global development, encouraging them to think critically about the future of our planet. The curriculum develops enquiry, decision-making and problem-solving skills while fostering respect for the diversity of people, places and environments.
