Year 9 Options

Choosing Year 9 options is an exciting opportunity for students to personalise their learning journey and explore subjects that match their interests, strengths, and future aspirations. The options process is designed to support informed decision-making, with guidance from teachers, tutors, and families to help students select a balanced programme of study.   The process is launched in Term 3 with an Options Evening; an opportunity to find out about all of the subjects on offer, speak to Careers advisors and teachers in order to make an informed choice.   

Taking into account academic potential, our students are placed in a curriculum pathway; Ambition, Excellence and Aspire and can choose a range of options subjects within each of the pathways.
